Sheet & Slab Rubber

GENERAL

We can supply most commercial rubber compounds  such as sbr, neoprene, buna n, epdm, red rubber, pure gum, silicone, natural, hypalon, etc in thicknesses ranging from 1/32” to 2” thick or beyond on a custom basis.  typical widths are 48” wide but some compounds are available 36” wide or 60” wide. mil specs p.o.a.

HARDNESS

Rubber is measured on the shore a durometer scale and most of the rubber we supply is in the 60 shore a range. all compounds have a tolerance with hardness of +-5 points, so a 60 shore a roll could measure 55-65 shore a and be within tolerance. rubber is available in a 35 shore a to 85 shore a range and anything below that or above that can be achieved by using a cast polyurethane which is excellent for abrasion and cut resistance.

Color

Most rubber we supply is black and marking but non marking compounds are available on a custom basis. other typical colors are beige, tan or red for natural rubber, white for food grade ingredient approved. grey is available on a custom basis.

LENGTHS

Depending on the thickness rolls vary in length from the thinnest 1/32” gauges (100 feet long) to the thickest gauges 2” (9 feet long) we can either supply full rolls or cut to length requirements.

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE

We have charts available to help select the correct rubber for your application. please contact us with particulars.

TOLERANCES

Width +- 1” on widths 36” & over, roll lengths +-10%
Hardness +- 5 durometer – all gauges, thicknesses: contact us
Width tolerance on cut rolls +- 1/8, skirtboard rubber +- .3937
